Do you ever wish you could learn more about your neighbors in the city? Compelling stories are all around us, but many of them go unheard. This special event will introduce the work of Everyday Boston, an organization that teaches Bostonians to share and record one another’s stories across neighborhoods and generations. Following an informal and informative “Meet Your Neighbors” reception and an introduction to the group’s vision and strategies, you will get a first-hand taste of the interviewing process they teach. Story by story, in person and online, Everyday Boston’s Story Ambassadors build community across a divided city. Expand your skillset, your horizons, and your sense of community in this 2-hour gathering with Everyday Boston’s founder and the organization’s team of Story Ambassadors from all over Boston!
This program is made possible with support from the Lowell Institute. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, registration requested at http://osmhapril12-18.bpt.me
