There is Another Way tells the story of Combatants for Peace, an extraordinary bi-national group of former enemy combatants - Israelis and Palestinians - working together during an ongoing armed conflict. The film explores the challenges that the group faced and continues to face following the devastation and escalating violence of Oct. 7, 2023, and the war in Gaza. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Jamel Qassas and Elie Avidor from Combatants for Peace and Stephen Apron, the film's director. The conversation will be moderated by Dyala Merhej, President, Suffolk University's Arab Union, and Michal Ben-Josef Hirsch, associate professor, Political Studies and Legal Studies Department, Suffolk University.
