Following a screening of the HBO documentary, The Life and Times of Tim Hetherington, the filmmaker and journalist Sebastian Junger (author of The Perfect Storm) discusses his friendship with the slain photojournalist, the challenges of covering war, and Reporters Instructed in Saving Colleagues (RISC), the organization he founded to prevent journalists from dying in the field. Former Boston Globe editor Renee Loth moderates. This program is a collaboration with PEN New England.
