Feda Eid is a Lebanese American visual artist living in the Boston area. Her work explores the expression of tradition, culture, and identity. She captures emotion through her bold use of color, textiles, and adornment that link the past and present. The daughter of Lebanese parents who fled their country’s civil war in 1982, Feda is guided by her family’s American journey and her own childhood, growing up as a Muslim in the US. She believes in the power of personal narratives to broaden perspectives. Her work has been exhibited at the Peabody Essex Museum, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Laconia Gallery, Miranda Kuo Gallery, National Sawdust, and the Shed. Feda was recently a visiting artist at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
