Light and its dazzling visual effects have inspired art across history, from prehistoric cave paintings to contemporary high-tech installations. One hundred years ago, Bauhaus artist László Moholy-Nagy adopted light as the central problem of his practice, exploring it through traditional and new media. Prints, photographs, and a film by Moholy-Nagy now on view in “Radical Geometries: Bauhaus Prints 1919–33” offer a chance to learn more about his light experiments. Join guest speaker, Melissa Venator, Stefan Engelhorn Curatorial Fellow in the Busch-Reisinger Museum at Harvard Art Museums, for this gallery talk.
