Don't miss this opportunity to hear from Mary L. Bonauto, Civil Rights Project Director at Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) and lead counsel in the landmark 2003 Goodridge v. Department of Public Health decision, which granted marriage rights to same-sex couples in Massachusetts. Bonauto will discuss this Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision and its aftermath in the context of subsequent legal developments in Massachusetts and the nation, and will consider current and future issues in the areas of marriage equality and civil rights for all.
