Discover the intersection of art and craft with fiber artist and sculptor, Janet Kawada. Form, color, and texture are explored through a variety of techniques and dazzling materials. Observe how an everyday object surface can be brilliantly transformed and create a small piece of fiber art to take home. A lifelong artist whose main medium is fiber, Janet Kawada shows her work internationally and taught at MassArt for over 20 years. Currently part of the Brookline-based Studio Without Walls, she is a former director of the Kingston Gallery. Kawada is included in the book Artistry in Fiber, Sculpture, Vol. 2.
