Marking the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage, this reinstallation, or “takeover” of the entire third floor of the Art of the Americas Wing highlights the work of women artists of the last century. Join lead curator Nonie Gadsden, Weems Senior Curator of American Decorative Arts and Sculpture, to learn more about these pioneering women, their artistic careers, and the art that they created. Gadsden discusses one work in each of the seven galleries to share individual stories while providing a broad overview of the exhibition.
