Join Laure Marest-Caffey, Cornelius and Emily Vermeule Assistant Curator of Greek and Roman Art, to explore how the Greeks and Romans envisioned and engaged with their deities. Learn about the strange births and behaviors of the inhabitants of Mount Olympus and about the rituals involved in their worship. Along the way, discuss a colossal 13-foot-tall marble statue of the goddess Juno and a gold bowl offered to the gods at the sanctuary of Olympia.
